Transforming a former office space into a bright, modern duplex is no easy task, but thanks to the bold vision of the owners and the expertise of an interior designer, this project saw the light of day in a 1970s building. The result? A 98 m² duplex at the heart of a loft aesthetic, enhanced by the use of Marius Aurenti’s signature micro concrete.
Loft-style living space
As soon as you enter the duplex, the loft spirit becomes apparent. A bespoke staircase, designed by the architect, runs along a large bay window and leads to the upper floor, where an open kitchen with a central island invites conviviality. To reinforce this industrial and contemporary ambience, the singularly shaped walls and ceiling have been preserved, creating a unique atmosphere.
